Is-sinjal għal EDITUR TAL-FILMS għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ V bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn il-pala l-oħra, ftit mifrudin minn xulxin. Is-swaba’ tal-V jitbiegħdu u jiltaqgħu bħal xi mqass waqt li l-idejn jogħlew u jinżlu u fl-istess ħin jimxu ftit lejn ġenb imbagħad iktar lejn il-ġenb l-ieħor. (ii) Imbagħad, l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ F bis-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jiffurmaw ċirku waqt li s-swaba’ l-oħra jitbiegħdu minn xulxin. L-idejn iduru fuqhom infushom waqt li jimxu ftit lejn ġenb u iktar lejn il-ġenb l-ieħor.
The sign for FILM EDITOR has two parts. (i) First, both hands take the shape of V with palms facing each other, a little part. The V fingers open up and shut alternately like scissors whist the hand move up and down and at the same time first move a little to one side and then more to the other side. (ii) Then both hands take the shape of F with the thumb and index finger forming a circle whilst the other fingers move apart. The hands rotate on themselves whilst they move a little to one side and then more to the other side.
